Household and cleaning brands use custom paper tubes to replace plastic jugs and tubs with something that looks organized on a shelf and good enough to leave on a counter. The format suits laundry sheets, pods, tablets, powders, dishwasher tablets and refill programs. It is one of the strongest formats for a refill model: a printed tube becomes the keeper and the refills are sized to it. Minimum order is 1,000 units.
Structures
- Three-piece: recloses repeatedly for sheets, pods and tablets.
- Sifter and shaker: measured dispensing for powders and scouring products. Any hole size.
- Divided tube with split lid: two scents, or a two step system, in one pack.
- Short lid: the lid stops short so the inner tube shows. Print a second color or a message inside.

Options
- Foil or food-grade paper lining, where moisture or strong fragrance would otherwise reach uncoated board. Both linings are plastic-free.
- SFI paperboard, up to 95% post-consumer content.
- Full-color print, kraft, faux kraft, foil stamping, spot UV.
Best for
- Laundry sheet, pod and tablet brands moving off plastic tubs, refill and subscription programs, cleaning tablets and concentrates, powder detergents and cleansers, starter kits and bundled sets.

FAQs
Can a paper tube hold laundry powder or pods?
Pods, sheets and tablets are straightforward. Loose powder is moisture sensitive, so we specify a lining against your formula.
Is a paper tube good for a refill program?
It is one of the format’s strongest uses. A printed tube as the keeper, lower cost refills sized to it.
Will fragrance move through the board?
Strongly fragranced products can reach uncoated board over time. Where that is a risk we line it and prove it on the pre-production sample.
Do you make a shaker or divided tube for household products?
Both are standard. Send the use case and we confirm the configuration.
Can one tube size serve a whole line?
Usually. Standardize the structure and vary only the print, and unit cost and inventory both stay manageable.
