Tea & Coffee Tins

Tins are the traditional pack for tea and coffee for a reason customers still respond to. They reclose, they keep light out, and they get kept long after the product is gone. GTS Packaging Solutions manufactures custom tea and coffee tins, food-grade certified, from hundreds of existing molds so shape follows the product rather than a size chart. Minimum order is 1,000 units and pre-production samples take about 20 days, then production runs 30 to 40 days in a third-party audited facility.

The closure is the decision that matters

  • Screw on lid: the tightest reclose. The usual pick for whole bean and loose leaf.
  • Flush fit slip lid: the cleanest premium look.
  • Wire snap mason lid: a visible seal and a heritage read. Available clear.
  • Window tin: the product sells itself at shelf.
  • Degassing valve: fitted to the tin for freshly roasted coffee, so the pack releases CO2 without letting oxygen back in.
  • Stackable interlocking bodies: for sampler and advent sets.
Tea & Coffee Tins option

Decoration

  • Embossing and debossing. A raised or recessed logo you can feel. Tin only, and a paper tube cannot do it.
  • Full-color print across the full tin, not a label applied to a blank.
  • Foil stamping and metallic trim.
  • Partial printing that leaves a clear area for a flavor label. One printed tin carries a whole range.

Two companies, one question we get a lot

GTS Packaging Solutions and Global Tea Solutions are two separate companies under common ownership. GTS Packaging manufactures the packaging. Global Tea Solutions does tea blending, private label and co packing. If you need the tin, that is GTS Packaging. If you need the tea inside it, that is Global Tea Solutions.

FAQs

Which lid is best for whole bean coffee?

A screw on lid gives the tightest reclose. Slip lids look cleaner and mason lids read more artisanal. The tradeoff is seal against presentation.

Are the tins food safe?

Yes, food-grade certified.

Can I use one tin for several coffees?

Yes, and it is the most economical approach. Partial printing leaves a clear area for a flavor label, so one printed tin carries the range.

Is GTS Packaging the same company as Global Tea Solutions?

Two separate companies under common ownership. GTS Packaging makes packaging. Global Tea blends and co packs tea.

Can a tin take a degassing valve?

Yes. A one-way degassing valve can be fitted to the tin, which is what freshly roasted coffee needs so the pack can release CO2 without letting oxygen in.

Tin or paper tube for coffee?

Tin if reuse, reclose and a logo you can feel matter most. Paper tube if weight, a window or a lighter pack matter more. We make both, so the answer is not driven by what we happen to stock.
